2020 has been such a very hellish year to many celebrities in the world. Regardless of the COVID-19 pressure, and it’s negative impact unto the world, some managed to enrich themselves.

The worst which happened was that, some celebrities got infected with the virus. Some recovered from the deadly disease and others as well couldn’t make it.

Here are some of the biggest names who have recovered from the coronavirus.

1. Kanye West:

Kanye West always set trends and made airwaves in the year 2020. The rapper way back in February caught the virus making him one of the big names on the list.

The Yeezy boss explained to Forbes News that the symptoms of the deadly virus is uncontrollable chills and shaking. He mentioned that there were times that he had to take hot showers and watch videos on what to do next in order to kick the virus out from his system.

When describing the COVID-19 virus to Forbes, he stated “I remember someone had told me Drake had the coronavirus and my response was Drake can’t be sicker than me!”

Kanye West failed to disclose the duration of his recovery.

2. Dwayne Johnson:

Despite his muscularity, Dwayne Johnson was infected with the virus. He made the disclosure in a post via his Instagram handle which reads: “We’re no longer contagious, and we are — thank God — we are healthy.” Before they were better, though, he mentioned his daughters struggling with a sore throat before they successfully “bounced back.”

Dwayne Johnson contracted the virus with his entire family contracted the virus back in August from some family friends. They recovered after weeks of isolating themselves.

3. Cristiano Ronaldo:

Former Real Madrid but now Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo tested positive for coronavirus within the month of October, 2020. After 19 days of isolation, Ronaldo carried out a check with a diagnostic test (swab) for COVID-19. The exam provided a negative result.

The Juventus star returned on the pitch and bagged a brace to seal his spot on his come back. He remains one of the biggest football names to have been infected with the virus.

4. Tony Shalhoub:

On TV, Tony Shalhoub is one of the favourite character players in films who is well-loved by many. In May, he paused his famous character for the Peacock At Home Variety Show before describing that he and his wife (Brooke Adams) had tested positive for the virus.

After his recovery, he said he at a point in time had rough weeks having to think about living with the deadly virus. Tony Shalhoub expressed sympathy for others saying: “we realize that so many other people have and had it a lot worse.”

5. Pink

Pink who is one of the most respected and iconic singers who have managed to live a quiet life for years now contracted the COVID-19 together with her three-year-old son Jameson in March and on April 3, via an Instagram post wrote:

“This illness is serious and real. People need to know that the illness affects the young and old, healthy and unhealthy, rich and poor.”

She said her son struggled with fevers that reached as high as 103 degrees.

Stephen Amell who is 39 years revealed that he contracted the virus in Atlanta while shooting movie dubbed Starz’s new wrestling drama Heels. Per his explanations, he made it viral that his symptoms included hot flashes, chills, dizziness, and loss of appetite. Amell also stated that he lost 15 pounds in 3 weeks.

7. Khloe Kardashian:

Khloe Kardashian judging from the preview of the upcoming season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, revealed that the reality star tested positive for COVID-19 this year.

The information stated: “Just found out that I do have corona,” she says in the clip. “I have been in my room. It’s gonna be fine, but it was really bad for a couple days.”

On the part of Khloe Kardashian, she said her symptoms included vomiting, coughing, hot flashes, chills, and a serious headache.

8. Donald Trump:

American President Donald Trump is one of the few people who never believed in the existence of COVID-19 until he got stroked with the virus.

The leader of the White House has always maintained that China is the brain behind the deadly virus and as such, deserves to be punished by the world governing body.

The president after getting hit with the Coronavirus said on Twitter that he would begin the “quarantine and recovery process immediately.” Trump’s was administered the antiviral drug remdesvir, the steroid dexamethasone, and an experimental treatment called monoclonal antibody therapy.

9. Melania Trump:

The first lady of the USA aged 50-years tested positive along with her husband President Donald Trump. Two weeks after infection, she detailed the symptoms that began a few days after her diagnosis. She said: “I experienced body aches, a cough and headaches, and felt extremely tired most of the time.”

Trump also confirmed that the couple’s 14-year-old son, Barron, had tested positive, though he showed no symptom.

10: Usain Bolt:

The eight-time Olympic gold medallist and the most celebrated athlete tested positive for the virus. Bolt said he showed no symptoms at all during the period.

In a video posted to Twitter, Bolt said he was quarantining himself at home, trying to be responsible, “and just taking it easy.” The sprinter got a coronavirus test the day after friends threw him a surprise birthday party. Health officials in Jamaica said they were tracing his contacts to ensure that all those who may be potential carriers of the virus are quarantined.
